Establishing a New Vocabulary

As with the establishment of any new body of knowledge, we need to establish its vocabulary and grammar along the way. This challenges both the authors to be diligent in so doing and the reader in learning yet another way to frame some aspect of their world.
In this regard, please let us know what you think of the terminology we have used here. Is it clear? Do the terms complement one another? Are they confusing in any way? Do you see opportunities for different terminology that better gets to the heart of the matter at hand?
