Even with completely sold out to agile organizations, totally self-organizing organizations, Polly notes that “The work of management is never going to go away. Whatever you call the person who is doing it, the work of management is… we call it (management) the technology of human accomplishment. It’s how people come together and do things that are greater than they could do alone.”
