Definition

A perspective is a point of view. Multiple points of view are essential to effective systems thinking. The more perspectives one has of a complex system, the greater one's understanding of that system. Perspectives have no basis in values per se. There may be perspectives that are useful or not useful, but not wrong.

'Perspective' and 'aspect' are used interchangeably here. See aspect for a more complete discussion of perspective/aspect.

Management application --
The development of more perspectives enriches the mental models of decision makers.
